First, the ultrasonic fuel level sensor is an important measuring instrument for measuring fuel tanks, oil storage tanks and underground crude oil monitoring. Secondly, due to the advantages of ultrasonic pulse wave principle and continuity measurement, it can not only measure flammable and explosive medium, but also be suitable for liquid level measurement of edible oil and other food grades. At the same time, IoT sensors are being integrated into modern industrial measurement.
The ultrasonic fuel level transmitter is capable of monitoring the tank level of the vehicle (ship). At present, the liquid level sensor of the fuel tank type is divided into two categories: one is to use a sliding potentiometer as the basic detecting component, and then the ohmmeter is used to detect the resistance value, thereby achieving the purpose of displaying the oil level, but when the oil scale covers the potentiometer The resistance value will change, causing too much error or even being used, making such a fuel sensor a consumable part with a short life. The other type uses an inductive coil as the basic detection component, which is usually used in high-end cars. It uses a float to drive the inductor, changes the oscillation frequency of the oscillator circuit, and then detects the frequency by the frequency meter to determine the oil level. The structure is complicated, the debugging is troublesome, the cost is high, the price is expensive, and it cannot be widely used. The ultrasonic fuel level sensor prevents direct contact with the oil and the sensor is not damaged. In addition, the ultrasonic fuel level transmitter mathematically processes the obtained time difference data (using the high frequency of the microcontroller) to quickly and very accurately change the fuel level.
In fact, the ultrasonic fuel level transmitter also has a deficiency. Limited by the working mode of sound echo, it will have a certain blind spot when measuring. But no matter what, as a new era fuel measuring instrument, its use rate and practicality is higher than other types of liquid level sensors.
