Tape reel water level meter used in well depth measurement

January 09, 2020

The tape reel water level meter is designed for well depth measurements. Different from ordinary liquid level sensors, engineers consider the complex measurement environment and convenience at the beginning of the design, so that users can get accurate measurement data in the actual measurement environment. Therefore, I offer some Suggestions for your reference, hoping to help you in the actual measurement.

As far as I know, each of us has a different method when we use a tape reel water level meter. This is because everyone's water meter purchase channels are different, in addition, most of the users are dealers and middlemen to buy the products, they do not have a professional engineer to explain the detailed operation process, so the performance of the product is also a little understanding. My suggestion is that first of all, when we are measuring the well depth, we just need to unscrew the locking screw behind the coil, let the coil turn freely, press the power button (the power indicator is on), put the probe into the water level tube, hold the steel rule cable, and let the probe move slowly down. Then, when the probe contacts the water surface, the probe of the receiving system will emit a continuous beeping sound. At this time, the depth dimension of the steel ruler cable at the depth of the pipe mouth is read and written, that is, the distance of the groundwater table from the pipe mouth. Finally, if the measurement is in a noisy environment, the buzzer can not be heard, you can use the peak indication, as long as the selection switch on the instrument panel to the voltage block, the measurement method is the same as above, at this time of measurement accuracy and sound measurement accuracy is the same.

To sum up, the tape reel water level meter can not only be used for well depth measurement, but also can be used for hydrogeological exploration, foundation pit dewatering and so on.
