Celebrating Dragon Boat Festival with Team Spirit and Tradition at HOLYKELL

As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, HOLYKELL embraced the opportunity to honor Chinese traditions and strengthen the company culture through meaningful employee engagement. This year, we not only distributed festival gift boxes and fresh fruit to all employees, but also organized a full-day team-building event designed to promote collaboration, trust, and cultural appreciation.

A Day of Unity

On May 30, 2025, all Holykell departments gathered in the morning to depart for Sunshine Valley Eco Farm.

 

The morning began with a dynamic series of team development games, all guided by professional instructors. These activities were carefully selected to foster teamwork, strategic thinking, and leadership skills:

 

Heartbeat on the Drum: Team members held red ropes connected to a large drum, working together to keep a ball bouncing steadily on the drum surface. Success depended on rhythm, coordination, and unity.

 

 

Rolling Fortune: Each team raced by stepping in sync inside special equipment that required balanced movement and coordination. The team with the best time won, reinforcing the value of collaboration.

 

 

Giant’s Step: Participants stood on large wooden planks, holding ropes for balance and movement. Only teams that walked in perfect unison could reach the finish line the fastest.

 

After an exhilarating morning, participants gathered around the table to enjoy a traditional group lunch. It was a time not just for recharging but for strengthening cross-departmental friendships and informal communication.

 

Afternoon Adventures: Leisure, Competition, and Fun

The second half of the day focused on recreational team activities, where staff could relax and enjoy a more playful atmosphere. Activities included:

 

Outdoor Laser CS (Counter-Strike): Employees teamed up for a fun and strategic simulated battle in nature.

 

Archery Challenge: Combining focus and precision, this competition encouraged individual skill and concentration.

 

Kayaking Experience: On the tranquil waters, staff enjoyed moments of calm and connection, embracing both nature and camaraderie.

 

Our Dragon Boat Festival event wasn’t just a day away from the office—it was a reflection of our company values: collaboration, respect for tradition, innovation, and human connection.
